Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Illia Avraimov, trading as Illia Avraimov ("we", "Seam"), for using the Seam dashboard, server and browser extension (Chrome or Firefox). By creating an account you confirm that you have read and accept them and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Seam is run by Illia Avraimov, trading as Illia Avraimov, Ireland. You can reach us at hello@seam.codes or through the contact page.

2. What Seam is, and what it is not

Seam helps people who sell on Vinted with reposting, messages to likes, offers and replies you set rules for, order messages, scheduled publishing, photo background edits and sales insights. You set the rules in the dashboard. The browser extension carries them out inside your own logged-in Vinted tab. Our servers never talk to Vinted, and we never ask for your Vinted password.

Seam is an independent tool. It is not made, endorsed or certified by Vinted, and "Vinted" belongs to its owner.

3. The beta

Seam is in a closed beta. Accounts are opened by invite, and the Beta plan is free. During the beta, features, limits and these terms may change more often than they will later, things may break, and we may end the beta or close beta accounts with notice. Nothing is charged during the beta and no payment details are collected. If paid plans follow, we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged unless you choose a paid plan yourself.

We ask beta testers for feedback, and we may use what you tell us to improve Seam without owing you anything for it. Please tell us at once if Vinted warns, limits or suspends your account while you use Seam.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Tell us if you think someone else has access.

5. Vinted's rules and your Vinted account

You use Seam on your own Vinted account and you remain bound by Vinted's terms. Vinted's terms may not allow third-party tools or automation, and Vinted may limit, suspend or close accounts that use them. We cannot promise that it will not happen to yours. Read Vinted's terms before you switch an automation on. Using Seam is at your own risk, and you decide which automations to switch on and how fast they run.

Seam is built to behave carefully: slow pacing by default, a daily ceiling, a stop when Vinted shows a captcha or a bot check, and no way around Vinted's duplicate checks. It pauses and asks you to step in. It never solves captchas or hides what it does, and we will not add features that do.

6. What you may not do

• Use Seam to break the law, to mislead buyers, or to spam.
• Try to get around a captcha, a bot check, a rate limit or a plan limit, or ask us to.
• Attack, overload, reverse engineer or resell the service, or access another person's data.
• Use the public API or your tokens in a way that exceeds the limits we publish.

We may suspend an account that does these things.

7. Prices and decisions are yours

Prices, floors, counter-offers and discounts follow the fixed rules you set. They are never decided by AI. Check your settings: you are responsible for the offers and messages Seam sends for you.

8. AI photo editing

If you use the photo editor, each photo you choose is sent to an image model to replace the background only. The model can make mistakes. You compare every edited photo with the original and choose which to use before it is published, unless you switch on publishing without review for the Restocker, in which case you accept the risk of an imperfect photo. Make sure your listing photos describe the item truthfully, with its colours, labels and flaws.

9. Plans, limits and payment

Beta accounts are on the free Beta plan; other new accounts start on a free Trial. Both have limits on reposts, messages to likes and AI photo edits; the limits of each plan are shown under Settings, Plan and billing. We may change plans and prices for the future, and will tell you before a change affects you. Paid plans are not on sale yet. When they are, the price, billing period, VAT and how to cancel will be shown at checkout, and payment is handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.

If you are a consumer and buy a paid plan, you normally have 14 days to withdraw. If you ask us to start the service during those days and then withdraw, you pay only for what you used up to the moment you told us. Your right to withdraw ends only if the service has been fully provided and you agreed to that beforehand. We will repeat this at checkout, where you can also cancel a plan at any time. Nothing here limits your legal rights.

10. Your data

You keep your data. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Seam for you, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Buyer names, addresses and messages that Seam reads from your Vinted account are your responsibility as the person who sells to them, and we process them on your behalf. You can export or delete your data at any time under Settings, Privacy and data.

11. The service as it is

Seam is new software. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will always be available, error free, or that every Vinted function will keep working: Vinted can change its site without notice, and then an automation may stop or be switched off until we update Seam.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury, fraud, or your rights as a consumer. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from Vinted's actions (such as limiting your account), lost sales or profit, or events outside our control, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Seam and delete your account at any time in the dashboard; deletion removes your data and cannot be undone. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where that is reasonable. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability) continue after the account ends.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a material way we will update the version above and tell you in the dashboard or by email before it applies. If you do not agree to a change, you can close your account.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. Please contact us first at hello@seam.codes: most problems can be solved quickly.
